I have always like watching the US cross riders in action. maybe it is because non of them are 'pure' cross riders, those making a living solely from this discipline, but are still crazy fast and great to watch. Many have mixed backgrounds, making their livings either on the domestic Road or MTB circuits. In many ways we are closer to the States in the type of races they run to those we have in the UK, rather than those in Cross's hinterland.
