I recently signed up on Vimeo and there is some amazing stuff on the site. I was routing around and it didn't take me too long to find this. I love this short film (would be a great Tv ad) and below is how it came about.
"I actually just called the owner up a couple of years ago and pitched him an idea that has still yet to happen...I want to ride my bicycle from Italy to Spain and hit every famous climb that is from the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France, and and the Vuelta a España about 1600 miles within 12 days...he was way into it and sent me loads of clothes but unfortunately I was hit by a car while training...had surgery and was off the bike for 8 months...now I'm just getting back on form so I think we're planning to do it next summer...so I'll have to talk to them again and secure a few more sponsors...oh! and hopefully the whole doc will be shot on the RED camera...I'll send you some test footage we recently shot on the RED..."Dave Christenson June 2008
