Normally you are either a Classics guy or a Grand Tour guy (read Tour de France for most people), don't get me wrong I'm glued to the box come July. But the greatest exploits for me happen in the Classics, where heroes are made from granite and show a will and determination which shows true grit.
The above slideshow was pulled from Slipstream (as they were) and are now know as Garmin/Chipottle. This has been a great year for them, a fourth at Roubaix and a fifth at the Tour - clean racing can be exciting and fun to watch. Long may it continue.
