A week later and a quandary strikes

After bailing out last week, we (not the Royal we but a small group) had committed to the Sunday ride. Our plans changed a little as originally we were planning to do the 20+ Km across the city and head South and out to the hills that lie there. So we headed to familiar ground and went North.

Pro Rider Secrets

This is not a drugs expose and will have no reference to dogs, wifes or dentists magic sweets. I am going to try and bring to light things that make the 'Supermen' of the peloton seem a little more human. I don't know how many of these I'll be able to do in a series but this one is about shorts.

Mini Rapha film

I recently signed up on Vimeo and there is some amazing stuff on the site. I was routing around and it didn't take me too long to find this. I love this short film (would be a great Tv ad) and below is how it came about.

Hiding from the snow

I am not feeling like a 'Teddy tuff Guy' today so I am hiding from the weather, writing and nursing a cup of tea. Winter training is going rubbish, but I am at present avoiding the panic as the countdown to Spring gains pace.

Tour de Ville

Tour de Ville are a shop that specialises in classic frames, parts and complete bicycles. I paid a visit to their current London location to see the wealth of stock that they have, and man was I impressed.

Italian Cycling Tours

If you have ever been frightened off by big faceless companies you should really speak to these guys. Like many of us Sean and Matt love Italy, and their passion shines through not only in their choice of places to ride or events; but it is in the small details like the qaulity of hotels they choose.

Northwave Aerlite 3 Shoe - Review

NW Aerlite Shoes

Northwave lie in the Treviso region, the heartland of Italian cycling manufacturing bicycles and parts. Over the years the company has made just as much impact with their memorable advertising campaigns as the products that they sell. The designs may have toned down a little and both shoes are now the same colour, but at the heart of it all is their passion to make great shoes.
